Managing Chronic Pain

If you are living with chronic pain you already know how over time it can also lead to stress, anxious thoughts or feelings, an inability to get restorative sleep and a decreased ability to focus during your day.

It has been my experience that most chronic sufferers come to see me more than two to five years after the onset of their condition. By this time they have thoroughly explored their diagnosis as well as treatment options. Often a person has given up hope of finding any kind of relief.

Hypnosis allows you to focus your attention and alter your perception of pain and therefore change your experience. Your body has an amazing communication network already in place and functioning so we can tap into this communication system and begin sending signals that will benefit you.

Will hypnosis work? Chances are that if you can immerse yourself in your imagination- if you can easily get absorbed in a good book, or a great movie, or perhaps a video game- you can be hypnotized.

Hypnosis is a drug-free, non-invasive, alternative way to manage your discomfort. Often hypnosis sessions can be turned into audios that you can continue to use at home for continued comfort.

If you would like to explore ways in which you can turn your pain down so that you can start moving better, thinking better, living life better and on your terms, returning to things you like to do and sleeping well while feeling less anxious than call me for a complimentary 15 minute chat to explore how hypnosis may benefit you.
